More than attending on a Sunday

If you decide to become part of El Shaddai Living Waters Church, you are not simply becoming someone who attends Sunday services. You become part of the vision and mission of the church.

The vision becomes our vision.
The mission becomes our mission.

Church is not a place where one person does everything.

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
1 Corinthians 12:27

Pastor and Members

We are accountable to one another

I want to make something very clear as Pastor. I am accountable to God first, and I am also accountable to the church to faithfully serve, teach and shepherd according to the Word of God.

And as members, you also have a responsibility to walk according to the Word of God and support the vision and mission of the church. This is not one sided. Pastor and members need one another.

Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account.
Hebrews 13:17

This verse reminds me that I have to give an account for how I shepherd God’s people.

Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care … not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.
1 Peter 5:2–3

So as Pastor

  • I will serve you
  • I will pray for you
  • I will teach you the Word
  • I will encourage you
  • I will lead by example

And I ask you

  • Pray for me
  • Pray for my family
  • Stand with the church
  • Support the vision
  • Serve one another
  • Walk faithfully with Jesus
